One of the most popular and recognizable personalities and voices in music since the early ‘60s, Dionne Warwick continues to enjoy a phenomenally successful and diverse career on record, in concert, on television and now as host of a nationally-syndicated radio show. “Love Notes From Around The World” brings romance back to radio with the greatest classic love songs, bracketed by interviews of legendary artists and commentary by Warwick.

Appropriately, one of her latest albums is titled “Friends Can Be Lovers” and includes a duet with Whitney Houston. Recently, she’s also delved into Latin music with “Aquarela Do Brazil”. To date, Warwick's prowess with love songs has resulted in two #1 singles among 12 Top 10 hits (31 Top 40 singles), including several which will forever be associated with her: “Walk On By”, “Message To Michael”, “Say A Little Prayer”, “This Girl’s In Love With You” and the Grammy Award-winning “Do You Know The Way To San Jose”.

Among her other hits are the #1 “Then Came You” with The Spinners and the Grammy Award-winning “That’s What Friends Are For” with Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder and Elton John. The list goes on with “Theme From The Valley Of The Dolls”, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again”, “Anyone Who Had A Heart”, “Heartbreakers” and another Grammy Award-winner, “I’ll Never Love This Way Again”. She earned 7 Top 40 singles in the ‘80s alone, including collaborations with Luther Vandross, Johnny Mathis and Jeffrey Osborne. Overall, she's pocketed one Platinum, five Gold albums and five Grammy Awards.

Warwick began her career doing background sessions in New York pop and R&B studios. Discovered by the then-relatively-unknown composer Burt Bacharach, she signed her first record deal in 1962 and debuted with the hit,“Don’t Make Me Over,” written and produced by Bacharach and Hal David. In an extraordinary life as a performer spanning more than 30 years, she has bridged Pop, R&B, Gospel and Latin Music.

In this exquisite compilation, Dionne is joined by friends (and stars in their own right) Gladys Knight, Vanessa Williams, Freda Payne and Sandra Feva for an all-diva outing that would grace any collection. These ladies are the real deal!
